FC soldier martyred in an exchange of fire with terrorists in N. Waziristan

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: In an exchange of fire with terrorists FC’s Lance Naik Muhammad imran lost his life while two others got injured here today.

According to details terrorists attacked an FC check-post here near the Pak-Afghan border. As a result of retaliation from Pak forces two militants were shot dead.

The identities of the injured FC soldiers have not yet been disclosed.

DG ISPR has taken to the Twitter to inform: “Terrorist fire raided FC post in North Waziristan Distt near Pak-Afg Border. During exchange of fire 2 terrorists killed. Lance Naik Muhammad Imran of FC KP embraced shahadat while 2 FC soldiers got injured.”

NORTH WAZIRISTAN: Three soldiers of the Pakistan Army were martyred, while one other got wounded when unknown terrorists  detonated an IED here on Tuesday (12th of Nov, 2019). 

According to details the martyred and wounded soldiers were a part of the army’s patrolling team. The site where the blast took place was cordoned off and a search operation was started in the area. The martyred soldiers were identified by the ISPR as Sepoy Sajid, Sepoy Riyasat and Sepoy Babar.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistani forces had also conducted a series of operations against militant groups in the tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the years. While the area has largely been pacified, small attacks continue to take place.

RAWALPINDI: Three Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred following a cross-border attack carried out by a group of terrorists in North Waziristan, Inter-Services Public Relations  said on Wednesday.

A group of 60-70 terrorists carried out an attack on the team of Pakistan Army soldiers busy in border fencing near Alora spot in the North Waziristan.

Pakistan Army made an immediate response and repulsed the terrorists in retaliation which killed many of the terrorists, Inter-Services Public Relations stated.

The martyred soldiers include Lance Naik Ali, Lance Naik Nazir and another soldier Imdadullah.

ISLAMABAD: Two Pakistan army personnel – IInd Lt. Abdul Moeed and Sepoy Basharat, both 21 – were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in was fired at by unknown terrorists perched atop the surrounding mountains of North Waziristan.

According to details Moeed who hailed from Burewala (Vehari), recently passed out from Pakistan Military Academy Kakul (136 Long Course) and was associated with the Northern Light Infantry unit. Sepoy Basharat, who joined the Pakistan Army three years ago, was a resident of   Danyor, a village situated in Gilgit-Baltistan.
