WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump, after failing to persuade allies over the weekend to send warships to secure Strait of Hormuz, has warned NATO of very bad avenir on Monday (16th March, 2026).

It seems that the NATO allies have ignored the 32nd member USA’s appeals. Japan and Australia made it clear that they were not sending warships to escort oil-tankers through Strait of Hormuz.

ump said his administration has already contacted seven countries, but declined to identify them. In an earlier social media post, he said that he hoped China, France, Japan, South Korea, Britain and others would participate.
