KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Balochistan government’s decision to extend lockdown for another 15 days was in accordance with the ground situation and endorsed its views that “So far the only effective defense against corona has proven to be Isolation Social Distancing and Lockdown.”

He stressed that the Federal government should help Balochistan government in augmenting and establishing its testing capacity, isolation and quarantine centers through logistic support.

He said that would enable the country’s poorest and largest province cope with the alarming conditions, it is facing alongside other provinces.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further demanded that cash transfers should be made immediately similar to BISP, to Covid affectees mainly the daily wagers, unemployed and the most deserving people.
