KARACHI: Defence Minister of Israel claimed on Tuesday (17th March, 2026) that he had been informed by the military head of his country that Iran’s security chief Ali Larijani had been ‘eliminated last night’.
The military of Israel further proclaimed in a statement: “Yesterday (16th March, 2026), the Israeli Air Force, acting on IDF intelligence, targeted and eliminated Gholamreza Soleimani, who operated as commander of the Basij unit for the past six years.”
