20 IOs trained to improve investigation skills

MULTAN: As many as twenty investigation officers in Multan completed training to improve investigation skills under the latest techniques.

These courses were being organized on the directives of Inspector General of Police Punjab. The master trainer from Police College Lahore Inspector Rana Zaheer Babar delivered lectures about the latest technologies being used in investigation across the world.

The officers were given training of data analysis, digital data analysis and cyber crime. SSP Investigations Rabnawaz Tulla awarded cash prices to position holders and certificates to participants.

Sub-Inspector Muhammad Iftikhar got top position, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Tariq second while Assistant Sub-Inspector Khalil-Ur-Rehman grabbed third position in the training.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Investigations Rabnawaz Tulla said such trainings were needed to improve department’s performance.

He urged the investigation officers to complete investigation on merit in order to ensure justice to the masses.
