KARACHI: Sarban (who was in his early twenties), a son of notorious Lyariite Rehman, was slain here in, what Police claims, an encounter in the Nabi Bux Police Station area on Monday (11th March, 2024).
According to DIG-South Syed Asad Raza the slain Lyariite was not only attempting to organize a gang to carry out illegal activities but was involved in drug trafficking and kidnapping for ransom cases. He told that one of his accomplices got wounded in the shootout and was taken into custody.
It is pertinent to mention here that Sarban’s father Rehman too was killed, along with his three accomplices in a similar type of exchange of fire back in 2009.
