MOSCOW: Deputy FM of Russia Sergei Ryabkov has warned on Sunday (1st Sept 2024) that his country would change its Nuclear Doctrine if West did not stop using Ukraine to wage a proxy war against it.
It may be recalled that back in 2020 the present nuclear doctrine was set out by means of a decree by Putin: “Russia may use nuclear weapons in the event of a nuclear attack by an enemy or a conventional attack that threatens the existence of the state”.
