RAMALLAH: Bureau of Al Jazeera in occupied West Bank has been ordered by Israeli military to stop operations for 45 days.
According to details, masked Israeli soldiers raided the bureau 3am Sunday (22nd September, 2024) and handed over the closure order (accusing the network of incitement to support of terrorism) to the legal team of Al Jazeera.
Following the order given by an Israeli general Al Jazeera staff left the bureau with their personnel belongings and cameras.
Savants at the helm of affairs wonder how Israeli military could order closure of Al Jazeera office that is located in Area A (delineated as being under Palestinian control in the Oslo Accords).
