KARACHI: CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has pointed out that globally Pakistan ranked fifth amongst date cultivating countries.
He was talking to Media on the occasion of the inauguration of country’s first Date Palm International Festival jointly held by TDAP and UAE here Friday (4th October, 2024).
Ambassador of UAE Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi, said that the 2-day fest reflected the commitment of both the countries to develop agriculture and ensure food security.
Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori pointed out that sans usage of cutting edge technology, quality of dates could not be ameliorated and without that the volume of exports could not be augmented.
The ribbon was jointly cut by the Governor and CM Sindh, UAE Envoy, Chief Executive TDAP Zubair Motiwala and Secretary General Khalifa International Award Dr. Abdel Wahhab Zaid.
