Cricket, 2nd T20I: Green Shirts beat Zimbabwe to win the series

QUEENS SPORTS CLUB (BULAWAYO): Pakistan Cricket Team has beaten Zimbabwe by 10 wickets in the 2nd ODI played here on Tuesday (3rd December, 2024) to win the 3-match series.

Chasing the target of 58 runs set by Zimbabwe Cricket Team, Green Shirt Omair Bin Yousuf scored 22 runs, while, Saim Ayub’s bat yielded 36 runs.

Earlier, Zimbabwe, that had decided to bat first after winning the toss, was limited by the Green Shirts to 57 runs. Pakistan managed to score 61 in sixth over.

Sufiyan Muqeem, who crushed Zimbabwe’s batting-line by sending 5 batters back to pavilion yielding only three runs off 2.4 overs has got his name in the T20I history books. Abbas Afridi hunted two scalps, while Haris Rauf, Salman Ali Agha, and Abrar Ahmed dismissed one batter each.

It is pertinent to Green Shirts, that hat defeated Zimbabwe by 57 runs on Sunday (1st Dec 2024) in the first T20I, won the 3-match series 2-0.
