KALASH: During the 15-day-long annual Choimus (Winter Festival), that is scheduled to culminate on Sunday (22nd Dec 2024), citoyens here are observing different rituals.
Interestingly, an enormous number of tourists join the locals to experience unique festivities including going out to seek foxes (that is reckoned as good omen) and dancing attired in colourful costumes at the traditional central dance venue Charsue, where people converge from villages.
