SEOUL: Leader of N. Korea, Kim Jong Un, by means of a correspondence, addressed to President Vladimir Putin, sent new year greetings to Russians here on Monday (30th Dec, 2024).
In his letter Kim Jong Un has pledged to solidify the North Korea’s strategic partnership with Russia and expressed his willingness to further augment the bilateral ties. According to the South Korean Leader Kim, he and Russian President Vladimir Putin, through new projects in 2024, had elevated the bilateral ties to new heights.
According to Kim 2025 would be recorded as the first year of victory in the 21st century when the “Russian army and people would defeat neo-Nazism and achieve a great victory.” It is pertinent to mention here that the two leaders had signed a mutual defence treaty in the month of June. The two nations will come tto each other’s assistance in case of an armed attack.
