BERLIN: Transparency International report, released on Tuesday (11th February, 2025) from here has revealed that Pakistan’s ranking on the Corruption Perception Index (CPI) has further plummeted two spots.
Pakistan, that was perched on the 133rd spot as one of the most corrupt countries back in 2023, has slipped further in the abyss of corruption and now enjoys the 135th position. According to details CPI ranks 180 countries on a scale of zero to 100.
The CPI report is released annually by Transparency International Berlin. Transparency International Pakistan (TIP) made it clear that it has no role either in the collection of data or the calculation of the country’s score.
