ISLAMABAD: A 4.8 magnitude earthquake has jolted the northern parts of Pakistan Saturday (15th Feb 2025).
With epicentre located 8 kms southwest of Rawalpindi, tremors with a depth of 17 kms shook high-rise buildings. Citoyens of Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, Samahni, Bhanbar, Chakwal, Murree, Tala Gang, Kallar Kahar, Gujar Khan, Rawat, Kahota, Taxila, Kallar Syedan, Jhelum and surrounding areas felt the tremors and vacated the batiments they were in, while reciting verses from Holy Quran. However, no casualties or damage to property have been reported so far.
