Houthi-Israeli conflict: US attacks Yemen, kills 31

SANAA: President Donald Trump warned the Yemen’s Houtis that hell would rain down upon them if it continued attacking shipping, following the US bombing of Sanaa, Saada, Al-Bayda and Rada on Sunday (16th March, 2025) that killed 31 men, women and children.

Trump taking to the Social Media stated Houtis were waging an “unrelenting campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism against American, and other, ships, aircraft, and drones.” According to Donald Trump, US was bombing Houti targets in order: “To protect American shipping, air and naval assets and to restore Navigational Freedom…No terrorist force will stop American commercial and naval vessels from freely sailing the Waterways of the World!”

Trump, while accusing Iran of backing Houtis, asked it to immediately stop the support. Otherwise, America would hold Iran accountable if it threatened American or their people. Taking to the Twitter

TEHRAN: Taking to the X, Foreign Minister of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi stated: “The United States Government has no authority, or business, dictating Iranian foreign policy…End support for Israeli genocide and terrorism. Stop killing of Yemeni people.”
