KARACHI: One of the founders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Taj Haider expired of cancer here on Tuesday (8th April), at the age 83.
PPP’s Central Secretary General, Taj Haider, who happened to be a mathematician and scientist by profession, was awarded Sitara-e-Imtiaz in 2012 in recognition of his contributions to Science. He was also a playwright who aptly played the role of Professor Wadiwala in TV serial Abla Pa.
Later the National Assembly offered Fateha for the departed soul.
