MILAN: Prada has bought Versace for 1.375 billion dollars Thursday (10th April, 2025) uniting two top Italian brands.
Donatella Versace said: “I am honoured to have the brand in the hands of such a trusted Italian family business and I am ready to support this new era for the brand in any way that I can.” Prada CEO Andrea Guerra maintained: “Versace has huge potential. The journey will be long and will require disciplined execution and patience”. It is believed that Prada, that focuses on minimalist style, will be able to attract new buyers due to the Versace’s bold prints.
