SISTAN (Irani Baluchistan): Eight Punjabi car mechanics belonging to Pakistani city of Bahalwalpur have been gunned down by militants in the town of Hizabad Paein here on Saturday (12th April, 2025).
All the eight Punjabis slain were employed by a car repair workshop here. Victims were identified as Dilshad Jind Wada, his son Danish, Naeem Fareed, Jaffar Ramazan and Aamir Liaquat from Samma Satta; Nasir from Musafir Khana; Khalid and Jamshaid from Ahmadpur Sharqia.
Gunmen entered the workshop in the night and shot the mechanics dead after tying their extremities. Banned Balochistan National Army (BNA) has claimed responsibility for the massacre. It may be recalled that on 27th January last year nine Punjabi mechanics were gunned down in Sistan.


Taking to the X Irani diplomatic mission in Islamabad stated that it strongly condemned “The inhumane and cowardly armed incident against 8 Pakistani nationals in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan Province.
“Terrorism is a chronic plight and a common treat throughout the region by which the traitorous elements, in collaboration with international terrorism, target security and stability throughout the region.
“Combating this ominous phenomenon requires collective and joint efforts by all countries to eradicate all forms of terrorism and extremism that have claimed the lives of thousands of innocent people in recent decades.”
