ISLAMABAD: The National Emergencies Operations Center of NDMA has warned the citoyens of Punjab on Thursday (17th April, 2025) that hailstorms were expected in various parts of the Province on 18th and 19th of April.
The table tennis ball-sized hails had recently battered Rawalpindi, Islamabad and the adjoining areas, cracked the solar panels and windshields of vehicles plying on the roads of the twin cities. Moreover, there are reports of disturbance in the agricultural activities due to hailstorm. Severe weather will affect Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Gujrat, Jhelum, Faisalabad, Hafizabad, Jhang, Khushab, Mianwali, Lahore, Narowal, Sahiwal, Sargodha & Sheikhupura. Citizens are advised to take precautionary steps.
