SHAHID RAJAEE PORT (IRAN): Eight people died and 750 got injured when a number of containers, harboring chemicals, exploded here Saturday (26th April, 2025) at 12.30 am local time.
According to reports, dozens were provided treatment at medical facilities in the area. Sources have informed that not only a number of people were seen lying on the streets, many were trapped beneath the quasi-collapsed batiments.
It is pertinent to mention here that Shahid Rajaee Port is situated fifteen kilometres southwest of the port of Bandar Abbas.
