SHAHID RAJAEE PORT (IRAN): Forty-six people died and 1,000 got injured when a number of containers, harboring chemicals, exploded here Saturday (26th April, 2025) at 12.30 am local time.
According to reports, most of the wounded were released after treatment provided at medical facilities in the area. Sources have informed that not only a number of people were seen lying on the streets, many were trapped beneath the quasi-collapsed batiments. Interior Minister blamed negligence for the blasts. It is pertinent to mention here that Shahid Rajaee Port is situated fifteen kilometres southwest of the port of Bandar Abbas
