GUJRANWALA: ATC Judge Muhammad Naeem Saleem has sentenced Naveed Meher who shot at PTI rally in Wazirabad, injured Imran Khan (IK) among others and killed one worker, for life over murder and terrorism charges, here Saturday (26th April, 2025).
It may be recalled when PTI’s long march was passing through Waziristan, Naveed Mehr opened fire at the principal truck harboring IK, on 3rd day of Nov, 2022, killing one worker and injuring IK, among others. The then PTI chairman had accused the then coalition govt and a number of military men of orchestrating the attack.
