SAR 20K penalty for performing Hajj sans permit

RIYADH: The KSA’s Interior Ministry has proclaimed here Tuesday (29th April, 2025) that anybody caught performing Hajj sans permit will face a fine of (upto) SAR 20,000.

Those who sponsor such violators of Hajj Permit Regulations will have to pay (upto) SAR 100,000/- Similarly, those who facilitates such violators by providing transport & shelter will also be penalised. Fine will be multiplied for each person involved.

Moreover, illegal infiltrators – whether residents or overstayers – found attempting to perform Hajj without permit will be deported and banned from re-entering KSA for a decade. Vehicles used for transportation of violators will also be confiscated.
