KARACHI: Following the Indo-Pak truce, PCB has decided that instead of UAE the remaining 8 matches of PSL’s 10th edition will be played in Rawalpindi and Lahore from 17th till 25th May.
Taking to the X, Chairman PCB said: “HBL PSL X picks up from where it left off! 6 teams, 0 fear Let the aura take over as we unite and celebrate the spirit of cricket. Get ready for 8 thrilling matches starting 17th May, leading up to the Grand Final on 25th May. Best of luck to all the teams.”

It may be recalled that during the recent Indo-Pak skirmishes one Indian drone landed on 8th May near Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium where Islamabad United was scheduled to clash with Peshawar Zalmi. Due to that, for the security of cricketers, all 37 foreign players were sent back to their countries via chartered flights. PSL was halted and it was decided that the remaining eight matches would be held in UAE.
The new (post Indo-Pak War) Schedule:
May 17 – Match No. 28, Karachi Kings v Peshawar Zalmi (Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium).
May 18 – Match No. 29, Peshawar Zalmi v Lahore Qalandars (afternoon) at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
May 18 – Match No. 30, Islamabad United v Karachi Kings (Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium).
May 19 – Match No, 31, Multan Sultans v Quetta Gladiators (Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium).
May 21 – Qualifier (Gaddafi Stadium).
May 22 – Eliminator 1 (Gaddafi Stadium).
May 23 – Eliminator 2 (Gaddafi Stadium).
May 25 – Final (Gaddafi Stadium).
After 27 matches the positions of six teams are as under:
1) Quetta Gladiators is perched at the pinnacle of the positions’ table with six wins;
2) Karachi Kings, that earned ten points after winning five matches, is in the second place;
3) Islamabad United (the defending champions) is in the third place;
4) Lahore Qalandars, that won four matches, is in the fourth place;
5) Peshawar Zalmi is in the fifth place;
6) Multan Sultans, that won only one match, had been eliminated.
