ISLAMABAD: FO spokesman, while talking to journalists here Tuesday (20th June, 2025) has categorically rejected the remarks made by a senior Indian army officer that Pakistan had tried to hit Sikhs’ revered of worship the Golden Temple by means of drones on the night between 7th and 8th May, 2025.

Pointing out that Pakistan not only takes care of Sikhs’ holy sites and welcomes a large number of religious tourists, it had also been allowing pilgrims to visit Gurdwara Sahib Kartarpur via dedicated Corridor sans visa. He reiterated that accusing Islamabad of targeting Golden Temple was totally baseless. The spokesman held that on the contrary India had targeted mosques across the border using drones during its so-called Operation Sindoor.
