ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has deported IS operative Ozgur Altun (aka Abu Yasir Al Turki) to Istanbul enabling Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organisation (MİT) to grill him.
MIT revealed on Sunday (1st June, 2025) that Ozgur Altun was nabbed in a precision operation carried out at Afghan border by Pak-Türkiye intelligence agencies.
According to details ISI was informed by MIT about the presence of the highest-ranking IS member Ozgur Altun, who was coordinating the movement of IS fighters besides handling the group’s Media and Logistics.
