ISLAMABAD: Federal Govt has presented Rs17.57 trillion FY26 budget here on Tuesday (10th June, 2025) out of which Rs 2.5 trillion will go to defense.
Govt employees and pensioners will receive an augmentation of 10% in salaries while the pensioners will get a 7% increase.
Growth this fiscal year 2025-26 will be 2.7%, contrary to an initial target of 3.6% set in the 2024-2025 budget.
Savants at the helm of affairs believe that instead of providing relief to the masses the Fed Govt has resorted to maintain status quo to please IMF.
