TEHRAN: Following blasts reported from Doha, Iran claimed it had retaliated to US strikes on its nuclear sites, by launching an attack at American Al Udeid airbase at Qatar on Monday (23rd June, 2025).
Taking to his social media platform Truth Social, US President Donald Trump stated: “I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done …
“I want to thank Iran for giving us early notice, which made it possible for no lives to be lost, and nobody to be injured.
“Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same.”
It is pertinent to mention here, while US said that the missile did not cause much damage, Iran asserted that the attack, on American’s largest military installation in the region, was devastating.
