TEHRAN: President of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian on Wed (2nd July, 2025) has endorsed the bill that was recently passed by the Irani parliament apropos stopping cooperation with IAEA.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Head of IAEA, Rafael Grossi, had said on 28th June that Iran could make bombs in a short time as it has the capacity to commence uranium enrichment in few months.

According to Rafael Grossi, contrary to Trumps’ claims, the 13th June attacks on three sites, did not totally obliterate Iran’s nuclear installations: “… one cannot claim that everything has disappeared and there is nothing there!”
The Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran is set to stop cooperation with UN watchdog IAEA until the security of it’s nuclear installations are guaranteed.
Commenting on the development, Speaker of the Parliament Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf accused IAEA of putting its global credibility up for sale.
Noting that the Agency had even refused to appear to condemn attack on Irani nuclear installations Qalibaf said Iran would accelerate its civilian nuclear program.
In a Media briefing apropos Iran’s imminent adieu to NPT, DG of IAEA, Rafael Grossi held: “This would be, of course, very regrettable. I hope this is not the case. I don’t think this would help anybody.”
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump told the reporters that America would engage Tehran, shortly: “We’re going to talk to them next week with Iran, we may sign an agreement, I don’t know.”
