WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump has announced that from 1st day of August, the 27-member-EU and Mexico will face a 30% tariff on imports to the US.
Trump further said that in case America’s biggest trade partner EU or Mexico attempt to retaliate, he would impose even higher import taxes.
Trump has also warned that US will impose new tariffs on goods from Japan, South Korea, Canada and Brazil, also starting from 1st August.
