DHAKA: Bengal Tigers clinched the 3-match series beating Pakistan in the 2nd T20I by 8 runs here Tuesday (22nd July, 2025).

Winning the toss, Green Shirts invited Bengal Tigers to bat first, who scored 133 runs in 20 overs. Pakistan scored 125 runs in 19.2 overs. Pakistan had replaced spinner Abrar Ahmed with Ahmed Daniyal.

Bangladesh had beaten Pakistan by 7 wickets in the 1st of the 3-match T20I series.

Batting first the Green Shirts barely managed to muster 110 runs up. While Taskin Ahmed sent three Pakistani batters to the pavilion, Mustafizur Rahman hunted two scalps. Opening batter Pervez Hossain scored an unbeaten half ton smashing five sixes and three fours off 39 balls. Bengal Tigers successfully chased the target in 15.3 overs.
