BANGKOK: Following weeks of tension over a border dispute,Thailand resorted to bomb targets in Cambodia by means of F-16 fighter jet on Thursday (24th July, 2025).
While Cambodia has not declared its casualties, talking to journalists at a Presser Thai caretaker PM held, since there had been no formal declaration of war the skirmish must stop.
Defense Ministry of Cambodia has maintained that it strongly condemned “the reckless and brutal military aggression of the Kingdom of Thailand against the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Cambodia”.
It is pertinent to mention here that both countries have contested sovereignty at a number of points that had never been demarcated along the 817 kilometres long Thai-Cambodia border.
