Syed Tasawwur Hussain Shah (late) is my real maternal uncle. He was born in Village Nauranga Tehsil and District Mianwali.
He graduated from Mianwali and joined State Bank of Pakistan in 60’s as Assistant Director after getting first position in a competitive examination in whole Pakistan East and West.
He rose to the post of Chief Manager. He played an important role for the uplift of his family friends and people from Mianwali and other parts of Pakistan.
He helped countless gems and pearls of Mianwali regarding higher education, employments on merit in Pakistan and abroad.
Though he went to his final destiny but his name is written in golden words. May Allah place his soul in eternal peace and grant him high place in Jannah . Aameen.
Habib ullah Khan Niazi is another son of the soil of Mianwali. He was a Major in Pakistan army. Later on joined Police Service of Pakistan and rose to the rank of the Inspector General of Police.
His services for Mianwalians are unforgettable. He is the pride and proud of Mianwali. He is so charming that one falls in love with him immediately after meeting him. He has been a source of bread and butter. روزی روٹی for so many Mianwalians. May Allah bless him with excellent health and keep him safe and sound. Aameen
G. M. Shah (late) former D. G. F. D. E and former Chairman FBISE Islamabad was born at Dandi, Dilewali Mianwali. He joined education department as a teacher at Government High School Mianwali.
Then he migrated to Islamabad and served in different educational institutions in different capacities. The name of Mianwali was his weakness. He gave a real identity to Mianwali in the field of education in the federal capital of Pakistan.
He was very helpful to all, especially to the voiceless poor masses. He fulfilled his promise to Allah, went back to Him, but his services for humanity are seen in almost every educational institution from bus drivers/conductors/peons/chowkidars to the directors and principals.
His humorous and laughing personality made him distinctive among his contacts. May Allah place his soul in eternal peace and grant him high place in Jannah. Aameen sum Aameen.
Headmaster Syed Atta Muhammad Shah: How can I forget the person who is my mentor among thousand others, and who had devoted his whole life to educate poor masses of Mianwali without any discrimination.
PARIS: Sorbonne University’s Auditorium here was the venue where Muhammad Imran Syed (hailing from Nauranga, Mianwali, Pakistan) has been awarded PhD in Computer Networking during a grand ceremony on Saturday (15th June, 2024).
His father, Mianwali Today group member Syed Aqeel Hussain Shah (Press Attaché, French Embassy Islamabad) also attended the event.
Imran Syed successfully defended his PhD thesis on 5th day of September, 2023.
Earlier Muhammad Imran Syed had obtained degree in Telecom from Bahria University and was bestowed upon silver medal for acquiring 3.57 CGPA.
His thirst for knowledge took him to University of Glamorgan Wales UK from where he earned a MSc in Telecom and yet another from Berlin, Germany.
Imran Syed is the grandson of well-known educationist Headmaster Atta Muhammad Shah (Nauranga, Mianwali, Pakistan).
All the inhabitants of Nauranga Mianwali and their friends have congratulated Imran Syed and his father Syed Aqeel Hussain Shah for making them proud.

پیرس: میانوالی ٹوڈے کے گروپ ممبر سید عقیل حسین شاہ نورنگا میانوالی (پریس اتاشی فرانسیسی سفارت خانہ اسلام آباد) کے صاحبزادے محمد عمران سید کو گزشتہ روز( پندرہ جون دو ہزار چوبیس کو) پیرس میں سوربون یونیورسٹی کے آڈیٹوریممیں منعقدہ شاندار تقریب میں کمپیوٹر نیٹ ورکنگ میں پی ایچ ڈی کی ڈگری سے نوازا گیا۔
اس موقع پر ان کے والد عقیل حسین شاہ بھی پیرس میں موجود تھے۔
عمران سیّد نے ۵ ستمبر کو کامیابی سے اپنے پی ایچ ڈی کے مقالہ کا دفاع کیا تھا۔
اِس سے قبل اُنہوں نے بحریہ یونیورسٹی سے ٹیلی کام کی ڈگری میں تین اعشاریہ ستاون سی جی پی اے کے ساتھ سلور میڈل حاصل کیا تھا۔
اس شعبے میں دو ایم ایس سی کی ڈگریاں یونیورسٹی آف گلیمرگن ویلز برطانیہ اور دوسری برلن جرمنی اور پیرس فرانس سے حاصل کی ہیں۔
عمران سیّد معروف ماہرِ تعلیم ہیڈ ماسٹرعطا محمد شاہ (نورنگا میانوالی) کے نواسے ہیں۔
