LONDON: PM Keir Starmer has confirmed on Saturday (26th July, 2025) that UK will airdrop aid in Gaza and evacuate children requiring medical assistance.
Following PM’s emergency telephonic conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, UK govt stated that the leaders had agreed that “it would be vital to ensure robust plans are in place to turn an urgently needed ceasefire into lasting peace…The prime minister set out how the UK will also be taking forward plans to work with partners, such as Jordan, to airdrop aid and evacuate children requiring medical assistance.”
