ISLAMABAD: A 5.1-magnitude earthquake shook Pakistan’s northern areas Sunday 12.10 am.
Tremors were felt in Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Hasan Abdal, Abottabad, Chakwal, Mardan, Attock etc. The epicentre was located in Farkhār, Afghanistan. United States Geological Survey recorded its depth at 122.6 kilometres.
