Pak Army heli Crash Claims lives of five crew members

CHILAS (GB): A Pakistan Army MI-17 helicopter, harboring five crew members crashed near Hudor village (12 km from Thakdas Cant) here Monday (1st Sept, 2025), due to technical failure, claiming lives of all onboard.

The crew has been identified as: Pilot Major Atif, co-pilot Major Faisal, flight engineer Naib Subedar Maqbool, Havaldar Jahangir and Naik Amir.

According to sources the helicopter was conducting test landing on a proposed site for helipad.
