WARSAW: Accusing Moscow of aggression, Poland resorted to shoot down hostile objects (4-19 drones) violating its airspace on Wednesday (10th September, 2025).
Polish Minister of Defence Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz took to the Social Media to inform about downed drones: “Aircraft have used weapons against hostile objects…We are in constant contact with NATO command.”
It is pertinent to mention here that earlier too Russian drones and missiles had entered Poland and other NATO members’ airspace, but till this day never a NATO member deemed it fit to shoot them down.
Russian claimed that it had attacked the military facilities in W. Ukraine by means of drones. It transpires that the hostile objects or drones (meant for Ukraine) accidentally landed in Poland.
