JERUSALEM: PM Benjamin Netanyahu, in a televised address on Saturday (4th Oct, 2025) thanked Donald Trump for supporting Israel militarily, and stated that they were able to pressure Hamas to release all the hostages.
Netanyahu said: “In the second stage, Hamas will be disarmed and Gaza will be demilitarised – either the easy way or the hard way, but it will be achieved.”
According to the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cairo will host indirect talks between Israeli and Hamas delegations on Monday (6th October, 2025), to ponder over the swapping of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners.
