TEl AVIV: While President Donald Trump was addressing the Knesset here on Monday (13th October, 2025), a left-wing Member, identified as Ofer Cassif, disrupted him by bringing out a sheet of paper with Recognise Palestine written on it.

Speaking to the Knesset members, Trump maintained: “This is the historic dawn of a new Middle East.” Calling PM Benjamin Nethanyahu a man of exceptional courage, he went on to thank the Arab nations who helped with (Gaza Truce) negotiations. He predicted that the coming era will not only be Israel’s golden age but also the golden age for the whole region. “At last, not only for Israelis but also Palestinians, the long and painful nightmare is finally over.” He said that after the end of Israel-Hamas war he will focus on ending the Russia-Ukraine war.
