TLP Chief’s house raid yields 20 crores

LAHORE: Following a sit-in and deadly clash with Police here, a raid was conducted at the house of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) Chief Saad Hussain Rizvi Tuesday (14th Oct, 2025) that yielded cash and jewellery worth Rs. 20 crores.

TLP, claiming that its chief Saad Hussain Rizvi had been shot and injured on 13th Oct, took to the streets of major cities, blocked main arteries and resorted to burning and turning. Police stated that workers of TLP, who camped at Muridke attempting to go to the Capital in order to protest at US Embassy (there against American brokerage of Gaza issue), had been dispersed Monday.

During the TLP clash with LEAs personnel, (including para-military force called Rangers), SHO Factory Area Sheikhupura Shahzad Nawaz was shot dead, while three workers of TLP had been neutralised. 56 people got injured as protesters set 40 (private and Govt. vehicles ) on fire.

Earlier thousands of TLP workers, led by Saad Hussain Rizvi, who commenced their march (to express solidarity with Palestine) from Multan Road in the Walled City after Namaz-e-Jumma on 10th Oct, resumed their march towards US Embassy in Islamabad, to voice its opposition to the US-brokered truce between Israel and Hamas, on Sunday (12th Oct) after an overnight sit-in here.

It may be recalled that TLP had announced a manifestation in front of US diplomatic mission in the Capital, (taking advantage of the revered Friday when people congregate in large numbers for Jumma prayers at mosques). TLP workers had been instructed by their leader to converge at Faizabad Interchange (known for TLP sit-ins in the past).
