KP: Twenty-five militants (including four suicide bombers) were neutralised on 24th & 25th of October, 2025 by Pakistani security forces in two operations carried out in N. Waziristan and Kurrum here, as they attempted to infiltrate from Afghanistan carrying a sizeable cache of weapons and explosives.

The Militants tried to infiltrate Pakistan near Ghaki in Kurram District (where ten militants were killed) and Spinwam in North Waziristan District (where 15 militants were gunned down). The two operations claimed lives of five soldiers identified as Havildar Manzoor Hussain (35, District Ghizar), Sepoy Nauman Ilyas Kiyani (23, District Poonch), Sepoy Muhammad Adil (24, District Kasur), Sepoy Shah Jehan (25, District Vehari), and Sepoy Ali Asghar (25, District Pak Pattan).

Militants continuously attack Pakistan armed forces personnel in LP and Balochistan. On 27th April, fifty-four terrorists trying to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan were neutralised hin Morth Waziristan. Arms, ammunition and explosive material was recovered from the militants. This happens to be the highest number of such infiltrators who were killed in a single engagement during the anti-terrorism campaign. It may be recalled that on 10th Nov last year, six militants were killed in the Spinwam area.

Security forces carried out the operation on receiving intelligence about the presence of militants. They neutralised six, injured six others during an exchange of fire with militants. Weapons were recovered from the dead/wounded terrorists who were involved in several terrorist activities not only against security forces but also against civilians. Two more infiltrators were neutralised when they tried to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan in the North Waziristan.

On 11th Jan, nine terrorists have been neutralized by LEAs during a couple of IBOs in the Dosali and Esham areas of North Waziristan. According to details, while six militants were killed in the first IBO carried out in Dosali, three more were gunned down in the second IBO conducted in Esham area of North Waziristan. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the slain terrorists, who were involved in in the murder of civilians as well as LEA personnel.
