NEW DELHI: Thirteen people lost their lives, while 20 others got injured when a powerful (bomb) blast jolted the area near Red Fort here on Monday (10th Nov, 2025) evening.
The horrific blast in Delhi last evening has deeply pained everyone. India stands with those who have suffered.

PM Narendra Modi said that the culprits would be nabbed and produced before the courts of law. Taking to the X, he held: “The horrific blast in Delhi last evening has deeply pained everyone that the agencies will get to the bottom of the entire conspiracy. All those involve will be brought to justice”.
Interior Minister Amit Shah, while talking about the nature of the blast, held: “We are exploring all possibilities and will conduct a thorough investigation, taking all possibilities into account. All options will be investigated immediately and we will present the results to the public,”.

According to Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golcha: “A slow-moving vehicle (Hyundai i20 car, harboring 3 people) stopped at a red light. A blast happened in that vehicle, and due to the blast, nearby vehicles were also damaged…The situation is being monitored.”

The Deputy Fire Chief of New Delhi commenting on the blast told the Media that six vehicles and three rickshaws caught fire that was contained by firefighters of the city of 30 million people. Security of many sensitive milieux all over the country have been beefed-up.
