MUSAKHEL (BALOCHISTAN): BLA carried out a number of attacks on various spots in the region on Monday (26th August, 2024) morning killing 50 individuals.
Security forces and LEAs have stated that they had retaliated and neutralized 21 BLA separatists. During exchange of fire 14 soldiers have given the ultimate sacrifice.
Forty BLA militants (who have claimed responsibility for the attacks) blocked the inter-provincial highway in the Rarasham area here, trapped buses, vans, trucks travelling to and from Punjab, offloaded passengers and shot 23 Punjabi voyagers dead after checking their identities on Monday (26th August, 2024) morning.

Following the Musakhel shooting, militants torched 35 vehicles including 17 trucks, two vans and four pick-ups.

Separately, in the Dozan area of Bolan, separatists had blown up a railway bridge due to which six people lost their lives, while the service between Punjab and Sindh was suspended.

Moreover, tracks passing through the areas of Mastung and Sheikh Wasil were also bombed due to which cargo train from Quetta to Taftan was cancelled.

Levies Thana was also set on fire in the Khadkocha area of Mastung.
BLA separatists have attacked Suntsar, Turbat, Panjgur, Pasni, Bela, Kalat, Bolan, Mastung, Quetta, Pishin, Sibi, Bolan and Musakhail.
Militants, armed with heavy weapons, attacked a Police Checkpost in Marghai Cheena area of central Kurram. After killing one and injuring another cop they torched the batiment.

QUETTA: Namaz-e-Janaza of the security personnel who had given the ultimate sacrifice in different areas of Balochistan were offered at F.C Headquarters here on Monday (26th August, 2024).
