Floods: ADB to provide aid of $2.3-2.5B

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Finance has taken to the Twitter to inform that “Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar meets Mr. Yong Ye, Country Director, ADB,discussed progress on ongoing portfolio.

“FM appreciated ADB’s support particularly the forthcoming loan of US$ 1.5 Bn under BRACE program and appreciated ADB’s flood related commitments.”

According to details the ADB has announced on Wednesday (5th of October, 2022) that it would provide an amount of $ 2.3-2.5 billion enabling the government of Pakistan continue its relief work following the devastating deluge that had inundated a vast part of the country affecting hundreds of millions of citoyens.
