27 ministries given last warning over critical delay in performing tasks

ISLAMABAD: As many as 27 ministries were today issued red letter by the Prime Minister’s Office for being negligent and delaying in assigned tasks.

According to a PMO handout, the ministries who were given red letter were directed to meet the deadline of September 9 and provide details regarding the tasks they have completed and those which remained incomplete.

PM Imran Khan repeatedly sought record of the performance from the ministries and one of those ministries was also issues a yellow letter.

It is being said Imran Khan is the first ever prime minister in the history of Pakistan to issue a red letter that is regarded as a symbol of extreme disapproval on poor performance.
