3-day anti-polio drive to commence in Punjab on Jan 21

SARGODHA: A three-day anti-polio campaign will start here in the district on Monday, January 21 to immunize 6, 21,477 children under five years of age with anti-polio vaccine.

Deputy Commissioner Salwat Saeed chaired a meeting here Thursday to review the arrangements in this regard.

The DC stressed the officials to maintain record of polio teams and also achieve hundred percent targets of the drive.

She urged all educational institutes to join hands to make the campaign successful.

The Health official told the meeting that total 1420 mobile teams, 198 fixed and 81 transit teams would participate in the campaign while 3694 staffers have also been trained for the purpose.
