30 more buses for BRT project reached Karachi

PESHAWAR: A spokesman of Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Peshawar, Numan Manzoor on Monday said that 30 more buses for BRT project have reached Karachi that would be soon shifted to Peshawar.

Talking to media persons, he said that 21 buses were already in Peshawar to ply on route constructed for the BRT buses.

During the current month, he informed that 30 more buses with a length of 18 meters would reach Pakistan for this mega project.

He reiterated that out of total 220 buses for BRT, 65 were 18 meters long while the rest have a length of 12 meters.

The spokesman was optimistic that all BRT buses would be imported by the month of July this year.

The BRT project was meant to provide fast and quality transportation facility to the people and no slackness will be tolerated in execution of this project, he maintained.
