357mm rainfall lashes Lahore, 4 killed, 7 wounded

LAHORE: After 44-years, the walled city was lashed on Thursday (1st August, 2024) by well-above 332mm (357mm) of rain in 3 hours, that claimed five lives and wounded 7.

According to Meteo records Lahore was lashed by 332mm of rain over three hours in the month of July, 1980 (44 years ago) and heavy showers will hit the Province till Tuesday (6th of August, 2024).
