36 suspects detained in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: Over 36 suspected persons including three Afghan nationals were detained during search operation conducted by security forces and police in Peshawar late on Sunday night.

According to sources, during the joint action conducted by police and security forces, 36 suspected persons including three Afghan citizens were taken into custody from Karkhano market at the border of Khyber Agency and Peshawar.

Police also seized 1-kg explosive material and six bottles of wine from their possession.

Due to the security concerns, curfew has been imposed in Mohmand Agency and Banu-Miranshah road for indefinite period.
