KARACHI: A Congo Virus patient who was brought from Quetta expired just three hours after being brought to the Infectious Diseases Hospital here on Friday (10th of November, 2023).
It is pertinent to mention here that following the outbreak of Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in Balochistan more than seventeen patients had been brought to Karachi out of them fourteen had been under treatment at Agha Khan Hospital.
One of the two patients who had been treated and discharged from the hospital following recovery belonged to the District East of the Metropolis.
